New Musical Setting for the Exsultet in Filipino

The Ministry for Liturgical Affairs of the Archdiocese of Manila, through the able and energetic leadership of its minister, Fr. Genaro Diwa, has commisioned and produced a CD and score of a new musical setting for the Exsultet in Filipino prepared by well-known musician, Fr. Manoling Francisco, SJ. Copies have been disseminated to pastors in the Archdiocese in time for the coming Easter celebration. Hopefully this will contribute to a better celebration and appreciation of the Solemn Easter Vigil liturgy that commemorates in very moving fashion the culmination of the events that brought us salvation in Christ our Risen Lord.
