Cardinal Rosales' Birthday

Today is the 74th birthday of His Eminence Gaudencio B. Cardinal Rosales, Archbishop of Manila.

Let us continue to pray for the person and ministry of our beloved Archbishop, that he may persevere in the ardent proclamation of the Gospel, the authentic witness of life, and the active charity towards the poor that he shares with the great deacon and martyr, Lawrence, whom we celebrate today.

May Mary, Mother of the Church and Patroness of the City of Manila, preserve him always under the mantle of her maternal protection and place him always with her Son.
